03 Frederick Christman (b.1711)
sp unknown (probably named Catherine because the oldest daughter is named Catherine)

Frederick is the first Christman to be born on American soil. He went to Pennsylvania with his parents before returning to Herkimer with them in 1728. In September of 1778, Frederick was captured according to the "Public Papers of George Clinton". He was taken to Canada and nothing is known of him again. He was 67 years old when taken captive. It is interesting to notice how many babies are named Frederick by the Christman cousins after that date.
